TYVEK® 500 SLEEVE

Premium protective accessory designed to complement Tyvek® apparel and provide enhanced protection for areas of the body that are more exposed to hazardous substances. Measuring 50 cm in length, this sleeve is available in white with a blue-colored thread on the upper arm for easy identification and is offered in one versatile size with an adjustable arm opening for a secure and comfortable fit.

Crafted from high-density polyethylene, Tyvek® garments and accessories, including the Tyvek® 500 Sleeve, deliver an exceptional balance of protection, durability, and comfort. The fabric is permeable to both air and water vapor, ensuring breathability while repelling water-based liquids and aerosols. This makes the sleeve an excellent barrier against fine particles and fibers as small as 1 micron in size. Additionally, Tyvek® is ultra-low-linting and antistatically treated, making it suitable for environments where cleanliness is critical. Notably, the sleeve is silicone-free, ensuring compatibility with various sensitive applications.

The Tyvek® 500 Sleeve is ideal for a wide range of applications, including pharmaceutical handling, chemical protection, lead and asbestos abatement, general maintenance and operations, spray painting, and general clean-up tasks. Certified according to Regulation (EU) 2016/425, the Tyvek® 500 Sleeve meets the requirements for partial body chemical protective clothing, Category III, Type PB [6-B]. It also complies with EN 14126 standards for barriers to infective agents and features an antistatic treatment (EN 1149-1) on both sides, enhancing safety during use.
