The PULSAR® EVOLUTION Orange Storm Coat – Recycled Content is a premium waterproof and breathable outer shell engineered to deliver exceptional protection in the toughest working environments. Built using advanced recycled fabric technology, this high-performance storm coat combines sustainability, durability, and superior weather resistance while meeting demanding rail industry standards.

Constructed from a recycled polyester 3-layer laminate fabric with an integrated PU membrane and Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment, the garment provides outstanding waterproof performance and breathability. Designed to meet EN343 Class 4:4 waterproof and breathable protection requirements, the unlined construction ensures maximum moisture management and wearer comfort during prolonged outdoor use.

The coat features fully taped seams throughout, preventing water ingress while maintaining protection in severe weather conditions. Additional comfort is provided by taffeta-lined sleeves and hood, while the interior incorporates patterned grey seam-seal tape and grey tricot backing for a premium finish.

For maximum visibility, the garment combines solid and segmented reflective tape, including two bands of 5cm reflective tape around the body and sleeves, along with 5cm reflective shoulder bands. Additional blue reflective details on piping, branding, and chevron prints further enhance visibility and create a distinctive modern appearance.

A highly versatile pack-away hood system allows the hood to be stored neatly within the collar when not required. The hood is also removable via press studs and features a 3-point shock cord adjustment system and integrated peak former for improved weather protection.

The storm coat incorporates a durable two-way YKK® centre front zip, protected by a double storm flap and chin guard. Practical storage is provided through a range of pockets, including a zip chest pocket, multiway side pockets, a large patch pocket, a zipped hand warmer pocket, and an internal chest pocket. One side pocket includes a detachable ID window for workplace identification requirements.

For enhanced wearer comfort during active work, underarm ventilation zips improve airflow and help regulate body temperature. The garment also features hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs with silicone tabs for easy adjustment while wearing gloves, along with inner neoprene cuffs to help seal out wind and rain.

As part of the EVOLUTION system, the coat is fully interactive with the PULSAR® PROTECT 7-in-1 system, allowing compatibility with selected softshells, fleeces, and body warmers for year-round layered protection.
